I got this crazy idea to give django a shot and see if I could dust off my old skillz, and in crawling the tubes found your blog. Many many thanks for chronicling your djourney, I'm very much a process learner and its VERY helpful to see you take on the challenges 1 at a time. Keep it up. I haven't even setup my test site yet, but once I do I'm sure I'll be back here. Side note, don't know if you've been-there-done-that or not, but Jeff Croft (http://www.jeffcroft.com, one of Django's early designers with the original development team and co-author of Blueprint) has a lot to say about frameworks and has a lot of good Django wisdom, you should check it out.
